As you may or may not know, Microsoft discontinued Xbox LIVE service for original Xbox games today. This includes Halo 2. I played my last games yesterday, and so many people were online, I got matches faster than in Halo 3. It was a blast. Now I'm really sad to see a whole era of my life (even though for most of that era, I couldn't play Halo 2; I just marveled at the idea of playing it).
Good thing there's still Xbox Connect.
Yea this sucks..I did manage to play a while like last week, but i didn't make it on last night :(
meh. halo 2 was by far my least favorite. i'm actually excited about them stopping support for the xbox, as it will let them do more with the new xbox live! :)
mrsmiley same here, but it's still sad to see it go. It was fun to able to get out of half of the multiplayer maps.
I is sad cause my brother broke our xbox about a week ago, and I got a new one yesterday. So i missed out on the final party

At least I didn't miss the beta. I do feel sorry though for all the people who just can't afford a 360 and are stuck with a regular xbox and now have no LIVE (I used to be one of these people, Halo 2 online blew after everyone left 4 Halo 3)

I really wish they made the guide button actually function in xbox1 games. Always was a pet-peeve of mine.
