If any of you out there are as nerdy as I am, you were dissapointed when Jeff Gerstmann and several other key members of Gamespot jumped ship (allegedly) a few months ago. Well, to my squeeling-like-a-schoolgirl delight, they have banded up to form a brand new site: GiantBomb.com! The website has a wiki backbone, meaning it’s completely dynamic to user-created content. If you need convincing, watch the video above.
p.s. I’m listening to their “bombcast” right now. Dripping with WIN.
Master Chief Theater 3000 has just hit a milestone of one million views! Sure it took 8 episodes but we still couldn’t be happier. Hooray! Thanks to all the fans!
Just wanted to give a heads up to fans that we have exciting new things coming from the MCT3K series…
The first is going to be something we’re probably going to possibly call something that could be related to the following non-final words: “Master Chief’s Shorts.” Basically, these are going to be normal-length episodes of MCT3K, with 2 differences:
1. They are going to be released in addition to our normal Friday episodes.
2. They are going to feature non-Halo game cutscenes!
So if you want to offer any ideas for which game cutscenes you think we should riff, please leave a comment and let us now! (PLEASE DON’T SAY MGS4… we don’t want to be doing that for the rest of our lives…)
The second cool new thing is going to be a memberonly feature for which we haven’t come up with a cool name yet. It’s basically going to feature all the riffs that didn’t make the cut for the current episode. Now one may ask “Why the **** would we want to hear the riff’s that didn’t make it!?” Maybe you should have asked yourself that when you bought that special edition DVD movie to watch the deleted scenes!
Yeah… pwned. Anyways, a lot of the deleted riffs are actually pretty funny. So if you want to have access to that when it’s released, I would recommend registering!
I just noticed this with our latest video so I thought I would pass on the info. Our videos look a LOT better in high quality (duh), so I’m hoping this feature stay for the rest of the videos Machinima.com posts up. I would recommend choosing this option to anyone who has a decent internet connection, as the Halo 3 cutscenes look quite nice.
Pyroman and I are extremely proud to welcome you to the brand new homepage of our production company. With all the great feedback we’re getting from MCT3K, we thought it would be fit to provide a place for fans (and critics!) to post their feedback and ideas directly to us. We also have at least one new project lined up at the moment, so this will be a great place to catch any new stuff we start working on, even outside the MCT3K series.
Alot of hard work was put into designing this site to be as slick, clean, and fast as possible. That in mind, we are still in the infant stages. Some things to consider…
- crap could be broke lol
- this site’s content sections are subject to change (although for now i’m happy with them)
- this is not a social networking site, so don’t expect outrageous social features!
- at the moment, we don’t have any “member-exclusive” content, but i’m sure that’s something that will find it’s way around. ;)
What you CAN do is create an account to both post comments on news, and make posts in our sexy forum. Unlike a lot of sites, you only need one membername to use both. Isn’t technology great? So please register, and leave feedback! We want to be active in our community, so we’ll do our best to respond!
Master Chief and Arbiter are joined by 343 Guilty Spark this week as they view all three cut scenes from The Ark. Is the Spark annoying? Yes. Was that intentional? Think about it.
Master Chief and Arbiter watch as the portal opens, and see the arrival of Gravemind’s infected carrier. The first episode since Pyrosmile Productions was created with mrsmiley!
